Hemsby consists of a small village with an old church and a selection of shops and Hemsby Beach Road with its many holiday attractions. The lively beach area of Hemsby would be most familiar to tourists with its many Amusement Arcades, Cafes, Souvenir Shops and the popular Lacon Arms Pub. Hemsby Beach is very popular with visitors to the area and well known for its sand dunes and World War 2 anti-tank bunker emplacements.
Along the main Beach Road there are a number of Holiday Parks offering Chalet and Caravan accommodation. Many amusement arcades offer entertainment such as Prize Bingo, video games and Fruit Machines along the Road down to the Sandy Beach. You will find a great selection of restaurants, Fish and Chips shops, even a Chinese as well as Sweet Shops offering Candy Floss and Sticks of Hemsby Rock. Down the bottom of Hemsby Beach Road you will find the Lacon Arms Pub, Seafood stalls and the Stone Henge Crazy Big Miniature Golf course. Past all the attractions and through the Sand Dunes you will be presented with the sandy Hemsby Beach, complete with Ice Cream van parked right on the beach (during Summer months).Page 1
